ADHD + Executive Function Coaching

If you’re smart, capable, and still struggling to keep up, you’re not alone—and you’re not broken.

At North Star Coaching and Consulting, we help professionals, students, and twice-exceptional adults (2E) develop the tools, structure, and self-compassion they need to thrive with ADHD and executive function challenges.

Working at Home

What Is Executive Function Coaching?

Executive function refers to the brain's self-management system—planning, prioritizing, focusing, regulating emotions, and following through. If these skills are out of sync, even the most brilliant minds can feel disorganized, overwhelmed, or stuck.

Our coaching goes beyond productivity hacks to address the root causes of ADHD-related struggles. Backed by neuroscience and tailored to the whole person, our process is both strategic and supportive.

Adults with ADHD (Diagnosed or Suspected)

You’re not lazy. You’re wired differently—and it’s time to work with your brain, not against it.
We help high-achieving, high-potential adults understand how their ADHD shows up in everyday life—and build realistic, personalized systems to work through it.

Students & Young Adults with Executive Function Challenges

Bright minds need support—not punishment—for their unique wiring.
Whether you’re in high school, college, or grad school, ADHD can make academic success feel out of reach. We help students create systems that support focus, follow-through, and self-belief.

Twice-Exceptional (2E) Individuals

Gifted and neurodivergent? You’re not “too much”—you’re uniquely wired for greatness.
As a 2E coach who is twice-exceptional, Kimberly specializes in helping clients balance their intellectual strengths with their executive function challenges.

Professionals with Focus & Follow-Through Struggles

It’s hard to lead when your brain is in a thousand tabs.
For professionals with undiagnosed ADHD, executive dysfunction, or just too much on their plate, coaching provides tools for clarity, calm, and completion.

FAQs: ADHD & Executive Function Coaching

Q: Do I need a formal ADHD diagnosis to work with you?
No. Many of our clients are self-identified or “suspected ADHD” adults who resonate with the challenges of executive dysfunction. Diagnosis is not required to benefit from coaching.

Q: Is this different from therapy?
Yes. Coaching is future-focused and action-oriented. While we explore emotions, our primary goal is helping you implement new tools, routines, and perspectives for growth.

Q: Is coaching helpful if I’m already in therapy or taking medication?
Absolutely. Coaching is an excellent complement to therapy and medication—focusing on practical strategies and follow-through.

Q: Do you offer parent support or check-ins for student clients?
Yes. With consent, we provide structured check-ins to help parents support their child’s progress without micromanaging.
